About me - Shadows of the past

The author

I am Hajnalka Pintér. I was born in Budapest. I have loved books since I was a child, but at that time I never thought that I would write one day. My bookshelves are mostly filled with fiction and crime stories, but I also have a fair number of romantic reads. I enjoy reading novels by foreign and local authors.

After surviving my school years, I took on the world. I lived in the Netherlands and Sweden. In the meantime, I visited home and abroad to see how my family was getting on, but somehow I couldn't find my place, I still wanted to go abroad. Then I had an idea that Denmark would be my next home, and it was such a good idea that I've been living here ever since.

Around 2020, I started toying with the idea of writing and a story came to me that I just couldn't get out of my head, and two years later I got the courage to start writing it. I thought it would be difficult to put my thoughts into words and formulate them, but the whole process was surprisingly easy. True, there were empty days, even weeks, when I blinked stupidly at the screen because the inspiration wouldn't come, but I got through it and eventually my work came together.

I was captivated by Gemma and the girls' lives, and I myself was eagerly awaiting the next twists and turns in their story.
